About me

I have a degree in psychology and worked in education for many years. I am married with two children and I find that yoga, walking, writing, gardening, watching great (ok, sometimes just comfort) tv and films keep me happy and well. I enjoy being with my family and friends, going to the theatre, and visiting new places. Some days I feel strong and whole, others I feel scattered and fragile. Iā€™m human, just like you. But I have learnt how to really listen and help others commit to living a fuller, more rewarding life.

I am particularly interested in compassion-focused therapy, supporting women post-partum and through the menopause, LGBT+ issues, and working compassionately with depression and anxiety.
